Chamroeun Loans (CL) |

For Chamroeun Loan, the interest rate charged is competitive per month, on a declining balance. No physical collateral is necessary but partners have to receive the approval of "co-makers" who will also sign the loan contracts. The maximum amount for a first loan is 400,000 Riels (equivalent $100). If the loan is repaid on time and if the business still needs it, the partner can apply for a new loan |

Social Emergency Loans (SEL) |

Social Emergency loan supports Chamroeun's partners when they need money in case
of emergencies related to:
Hospitalization fee in case of sudden illness or accident.
Fees related to baby delivery.
Funeral fees in case of family member's death.
Buying material to replace losses due to disaster or fire.
Social emergency loan will be provided to only existing partners who face urgent emergency
situation. Interest rate is only 2% per month on declining balance with the maximum loan
amount is 500,000 Riels with term is up to 6 months. Partner needs to pay by monthly to the
branches. No physical collateral is required but partner needs to present one co-maker who
can be a family member. No processing fee and compulsory saving are charged from partner.
Developing Loan (DL) |

Interest rate is competitive on declining balance with the maximum loan amount is 200,000 Riels (equivalent $50) with term is up to 20 weeks. If the loan is repaid according to the schedule and if the activity still demands it, partner can have access to a new loan, on the next cycle. Partner needs to pay by only weekly to the branches. No physical collateral is required but clients needs to present one co-maker. |
SAVING
CAPITAL BUILD UP (CBU) SAVING (Compulsory saving) |

Prior to be a partner with Chamroeun, client needs to opening CBU saving with no administrative fees for opening or account management are charged.
Minimum transaction amount is only 2,000 riels.
It is possible to deposit or withdrawal without limitation.
A very competitive interest rate is offered (between 2% and 4.5% per year according to the account balance, capitalized monthly).
No identity document is requested to open a saving account.
Partners will receive a passbook similar to the ones used in commercial banks. It makes them feel responsible and helps building self-confidence.

LOAN CAPITAL BUILD UP (LCBU) SAVING/ COMPULSORY SAVING |
|
All along the loan repayments, partners are requested to deposit a small amount in a specific account at each installment.
During the loan repayment, no interest is paid on that compulsory saving. Chamroeun constitutes a small guaranty to the outstanding loan and for the partner it is a way to build softly a small capital.
Once the loan is fully repaid, that amount is transferred to Capital Build Up (CBU) saving account and starts generating interests. |
MICRO INSURANCE
Chamroeun proposes a health micro insurance product in partnership with GRET and its program "SKY". The insurance covers consultation fees, medicines and hospitalization for the all families. The premium varies between 8,000 And 20,000 Riels per month depending on the number of people in the family. Members receive an insurance book updated every month when they come to make the payments. By presenting this book, members have a free access to doctor and nurses especially dedicated to them and to all Phnom Penh municipal Hospital services.
NON FINANCE SERVICES
Four Business Training modules |

These trainings focus on very small income generating activities management. They are organized directly in the branches. Participation is free of charge. Participants having attended the four modules receive a certificate. Four modules are Entrepreneurship, Basic Marketing, Bookkeeping, and Business plan. |
Social Training |
|
These trainings are facilitated in the branches by the social worker (BSD Officers) or by some of network’s organizations. The objective of these trainings is to make the beneficiaries aware and resistant to social issues or risks such as domestic violence, HIV/AIDS infection, human rights violations, drugs addiction, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, child rights, gender, land dispute, democracy, environment and other social matters. |

Social counseling permanencies |
|
Every week, a social worker (BSD Officers) spends half a day in all branches. He is available to discuss any social related matter with the partners. Depending on the problem encountered, he will help the family to find adapted solutions. |

Referral to a network of specialized organizations |
|
The social workers (BSD Officers) develop partnerships with other organizations specialized on social matters (health, education, advocacy, human rights...) and well-known for the quality of their work. When possible, partners met during the social counseling open hours will be sent to these organizations where they will receive appropriate assistance.

Skill Training |
|
They also take place in the branches and are facilitated by some of the Partners identified for special skills they use in their businesses. The new skill learnt can be used by trainees to start up a new activity or to develop an existing one. A small financial participation (3,000 Riels) is requested to cover the trainer fees and materials. |

Access Employment Center (AEC) is a service that is being operated under the supervision of Chamroeun Microfinance Limited in Cambodia by providing educational services related to trainings on basic or other skills to Chamroeun Microfinance’s partners, relatives of partners, students, all social workers who are willing to improve their standard of living and their works.
By continuously developing and expanding Chamroeun’s services, AEC is established under the management of Chamroeun Microfinance in Cambodia in order to maintain and strengthen its daily operation especially on training service and social service.
In response to the human resource market need, AEC is installed intends to fulfill the market demand on Human Resource sector that consists of existing trainees and potential trainees.
In its commitment to succeed a life-long operation, AEC will, from time to time, struggle all obstacles to research and discuss in order to find out the best strategy, methodology, and necessary documents for its trainees.

Payment |

The training courses are under the supports of Chamroeun Company and donated by Entrepreneur Du Monde but the trainees are required to contribute any part of payment on the training fee based on each training requirement. Training payment should be paid before or on training day. |

Refundable Training FEE |
|
The participants who have registered and then wished to cancel their participation from any training course should informed Chamroeun’s staff who is in charge of training registration at least one day in advance of training course starting by phone, mail or direct contact. The cancellation of participation, 50% of full payment will be deducted. |
ENTITLEMENT
Certificate
Certificate of participation will be issued to participants who attend a full-course. No certificates will be offered to participants who do not complete the course.
Supported Materials/ Refreshment
The participants will gain all related documents for the course such as Hand Book, Handout, Slide and refreshments (Coffee Break).
Internship/Volunteer
After completed training, the internship or volunteer job will be entitled to the participants based on the level of score and participants’ request. If Chamroeun needs employee to work, the internship trainees are priority to be selected.
Other Entitlement
If the Trainees are in group of five participants will be discounted 100% payment for one person but Hand Book will be charged 4,000 Reils. Qualified training and comfortable training class are also offered through Access Employment Center’s Mission
